A renowned actor, a great composer, a big name in chocolate and a literary academic ???

.  .  . Just four of the many people who held positions as Patrons or on the Council of the Pestalozzi charity from when it was just an idea, through to the early 1960’s.

We’ve been gathering these names from old Pestalozzi documents, some discovered in the National Archives at Kew.

While we have about sixty names so far (and with more to add), we still have precious little information about their contributions to the Pestalozzi cause.

We hope that displaying this list will lead to revealing why so many people were keen to support the establishment of the Pestalozzi Children’s Village in Sedlescombe

Take a look at the names here – if you know something about them and their Pestalozzi involvement, let us know !
