Just to let everyone know that The Times (UK) has published an article (15 August 2025) about the Oaklands estate in Sedlescombe. It includes interesting notes about the Brabazon family, along with a brief description of the Pestalozzi Children’s Village.

The article headline includes a spectacular modern colour photo of the Manor House – very nostalgic! The Manor House was our very first surrogate home – providing us with comforts unimaginable at the time. The current owners have done an exceptional job restoring the building to its former glory.
