Secretary to Halley Stewart Trust and Sir Richard Stapely Trust

Miss Joyce Brown is recorded as a Council member of the British Pestalozzi Children’s Village Association in 1950.
Brown’s specific contribution to the charity remains undiscovered at this time. We are guessing that she was there to represent the interests of the two trusts, which may well have been financial benefactors to the Pestalozzi charity.
No other information has been discovered to date about her connection with the Halley Stewart Trust, however Miss G. Joyce Brown is recorded* as having been secretary to the Sir Richard Stapely Trust – administering it between 1919 and 1968. (She also served as a Council member of that Trust from 1933)
We are keen to discover any documents, articles or images that will reveal more about Miss Joyce Brown‘s contribution to the Pestalozzi Children’s Village
