Schools
Schools interested in discovering more about the early era of the Pestalozzi Children’s Village – particularly from the perspective of children who were taken into care from refugee environments in Germany following the Second World War or from deprived backgrounds in the United Kingdom, or those who fled Tibet to northern India – are encouraged to contact the Early Pestalozzi Children’s Project.
We would welcome advice on what sort of information is useful. This is, presently, a very new project and we are in the early stages of collecting data. However, the Project organisers were resident children in this community between 1959 – 1967 and are conversant with the some of the experiences of our Village contemporaries.
